George Lucas delivers the finale (in this unenhanced theatrical version) to his epic space trilogy with the rebel forces' last stand against the Empire and Luke Skywalker's (Mark Hamill) confrontation with his nemesis. Luke rescues Han Solo (Harrison Ford) and Princess Leia (Carrie Fisher) from the clutches of Jabba the Hutt, and the final battle pits the rebel army and the furry Ewoks against the rebuilt Death Star and Darth Vader's evil powers.
